Science Wonders
About

An interactive lab notebook

Science Wonders is a set of hands-on experiments with the ideas that broke common sense: quantum mechanics, relativity, chaos, evolution and the parts of mathematics where intuition fails.

How each experiment works

  • Predict first. Each page opens with a question about what will happen. Committing to a guess before you look is one of the most reliable ways to learn, and most of these results surprise people.
  • Run it. The apparatus is a real simulation, not a video. The numbers come from the same equations physicists use, at the real scales where possible.
  • Understand it. A short explainer covers what you're seeing and why it's strange, followed by real-world applications and three quick questions.

For teachers

  • Presenter mode hides everything except the apparatus and its controls, in full screen, for a projector.
  • Copy link to this setup saves the current settings in the link, so a class can open exactly the configuration you want to discuss.
  • Guided tours chain several experiments into a lesson, with a goal for each step.

Privacy and offline use

There is no backend and no tracking. Your predictions, quiz scores and progress are stored only in your own browser. After your first visit the site also works offline, and you can install it to your phone's home screen from the browser menu.
